    PRESS RELEASE
    August 15, 2008
Navamar Ship Repairs Inc has moved to its new 56,000 sq. feet plant located at 10150 Notre Dame E. in Montreal East, ideally situated near section 98 of the Port of Montreal.
This new geographical location permits Navamar to easily transit over-sized pieces from its manufacturing floor to nearby convenient dock areas, such as it did recently with the construction and delivery of 2 heavy duty cargo barges for Transport Nanuk, which provides vessel transportation and cargo consolidation services between St. Lawrence River ports and the Canadian Arctic.\r
The barges, each weighing over 56 tons, were easily and efficiently delivered dockside and placed on board the M/V Qamutik for duties in the Northern waters.
Navamar’s new facilities include a new and much larger fabrication facility, an expanded machine shop area, a new electric shop facility and a manufacturer approved lifeboat servicing center serving Eastern Canada.
As well, Navamar’s new location has allowed it to significantly reduce the traveling time by its Service Division personnel to attend to its customers’ vessels.
